is a RWBY AU, in which a twist of fate allows Qrow to arrest Jimmy Vanille, and end up taking in his child.
Birdseed And Ice Cream contain examples of:
- Adaptational Gender Identity: In canon Neo gave no indication that they identified as anything other than female. Here they're non-binary.
- Happily Adopted: Qrow ends up taking Neo in, and they're much happier there than with their parents.
- What If?: The "if" being Qrow managing to record Jimmy Vanille being abusive towards Neo while he's in town investigating.
