Summary: Issei only had a dream to become a Harem King. At least since he became friends with Matsuda and Motohama. However, when he finds out about the Dragon in his arm, Issei realizes that in this new world he's about to be drawn into, he has to be strong enough to live and protect his dreams and his Horde. - Adaptational Badass: Many Characters of series are given adaptational upgrades.
- Issei the main protagonist of Dx D, while not a push over due to being the holder of the Boosted Gear and the Red Dragon Emperor, there is now trained in all forms of Haki (Conquerors, Armament, and Observation) and is also far superior in combat due to training in against the Large creature of ONE PIECE as well as sparring against his friends who also Took a Level in Badass
- In canon both of Issei's best friends and the other two members of the Pervert Trio, Matsuda and Motohama are base level humans with no powers or abilities. Here they bonafide badasses.
- Matsuda while before his Training from Hell was still an athlete and as such is in better shape than his canon counterpart. After his training however, he becomes a true powerhouse. He has consumed the Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, Neko Neko no Mi Model: Byakko, increasing his strength and Durability massively, he also becomes well-trained in Armament and Observation Haki.
- Motohama on the other hand gained a much larger power boost after he consumed the Logia Devil Fruit Yuki Yuki no Mi/Snow Snow Fruit, and became a Snow Human, on top of this he also learned how to use both Armament and Observation Haki.
- Rias Gremory unlocks the Gremory Bloodline Prowess GAMORY (becoming the first Gremory to ever do so) which transforms her body into a more demonic form as well as making her into a four winged Devil and increasing her power massively.
- Riser Phenex surprisingly takes a Took a Level in Badass when he reveals his Final form, [PHEYNIX], which is the bloodline prowess of the Phenex Clan that takes the form of bird-like armour, armor-like scales and feathers across his body, a large avian eye in the center of his chest and talons on his hands and feet as well as turning himself into a four winged Devil like Rias.
- Ascended Extra: Matsuda and Motohama, while in canon are side-characters, here they are part of major characters who act as Issei's Right Hand and Left Hand man respectively.
- Chivalrous Pervert: Despite being all being hardcore perverts and often peeking and commenting on various female characters, Issei and his friends treat all women with respect and do not touch them innapropiately without receiving permission. The perverted trio even having a rule "Never go beyond looking without Consent". All three members of the trio despise the act of rape itself.
- Crime of Self-Defense: Averted by Asia. When Matsuda is attacked by the kendo club, unprovoked, he asks Issei if he can fight back because it would be self-defense. Asia tells him not to, because he would still be seen as in the wrong for attacking the kendo club due to the Perverted Trio's previous track record.
- Covert Pervert: Irina can say what she will, she definitely enjoyed her time with Issei and was frustrated that Issei kept his word of not going all the way with her.
- Groin Attack: Rias Gremory employs this attack on Riser during her engagement Rating Game, much to the horror of the observing males.
- Sona also describes her own form, to Issei's horror. Her attack includes coating her knee with water spikes, and after stabbing her target the magical water left behind violently rips its way out of the target.
- Heel–Face Turn: Raynare, Mittelt, and Kalawarner all become part of Issei's hoard after being beaten by him, Matsuda, and Motohama respectively.
- Shout-Out: Tomoki's Sacred Gear, Last Longinus, is Naofumi's shield as a Sacred Gear.
- Super Power Lottery:
- Issei Hyoudou won it with being born with both his sacred Gear the Booster Gear and Possessing Conqueror's Haki.
- Both Matsuda and Motohama were lucky, in that the Devil Fruit they each consumed were a both rare and powerful.
- Too Much Information: Issei screams out this trope's name in acronym form after Sona gives him a very detailed description of her Groin Attack.
