Also important is something ''extremely'' rare in any crossover: ''things don't change right away''. The story starts sometime a little before the turn back the pendulum arc, and major changes don't happen for several chapters. This is partially because the overall spread of events was [[TheChessmaster designed]] to allow for [[MagnificentBastard inconsistencies,]] and partially because Lelouch starts out at a fairly low rank, and stays that way for a while. His rise through the ranks is steady and believable.

* AuthorityGrantsAsskicking: With the exception of [[spoiler: Lelouch]], [[spoiler: Hisana]] is the highest rank Soul Reaper of the reinforcements sent to Karakura Town on the field of battle against the assault to [[ItWasHisSled kidnap]] [[TheStationsOfTheCanon Orihime]]. [[spoiler: Her Bankai's ultimate ability has her wipe out all of the fraccion on the battlefield with a single attack from her final Bankai mode.]]
