First is that the Anti Magilink Field that she installed inside her laboratory will only work to one universe (Nanoha-verse) characters only (in this case, it only affects Alph), which allows Cure Marine to use Marine Dynamite at full force to blow up the laboratory. The second is failing to calculate the possibilities of Alph turning into her fox form into her data, which allows an already-enraged Alph to maul Viluy to her death.

The resulting fusion has incredible power but is very unstable, causing Rei to "flicker" if she loses control.
