- And then there's Bill Clinton who believes anyone wearing sunglasses is Johnny Cage
- Crossover: "Phelous then noticed the German guys from Cool Runnings telling the Jamaican representatives to "Get out of here Jamaica."
- The Ditz: Phelous. He even tells Bill Clinton "Say hi to George Washington for me!"
- Everyone Is Bi: At one point Phelous walks in on Obscurus Lupa and The Cinema Snob kissing and exclaims: "My two lovers have betrayed me!."
- Meta Fic: Has it's moments, such as Phelous changing into different costumes to talk to himself, or pretending Phelous D1 Cat can talk. Seeing as this is Phelous though, that's to be expected.
- Out of Character: Every Canadian politician mentioned in the story is real, and extremely out of character. Cinema Snob is also strangely chipper throughout the story.
- Real-Person Fic: Just some of the few politicians featured in the story are David Lloyd Johnston, the Governor General of Canada, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Canadian Member of Parliament Collin Carrey and former US President Bill Clinton.
