Set after 'The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe', this series introduces Astrid Johnson, a spunky sixteen year old who can outsnark the Doctor!
It has three episodes so far: Crash Landings, She's Too Young For You and the work in progress Museum of Angels.

- Agent Scully: Unlike all the other boyfriend Companions, Tim Flanders is adamant that aliens do not exist and thinks the Doctor is utterly mad.
- Character Tics: Astrid twirls her hair when nervous.
- Chekhov's Gun: The second sonic screwdriver that the Doctor gives Astrid.
- Continuity Nod: The fez makes a return in Museum of Angels, as do jelly babies.
- Destructive Savior: When the Doctor first meets Astrid, he destroys her house.
- Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: Chapter names are usually lines of dialogue.
