Keith Tapley considers himself fairly lucky in life. He and his sister get along well, they're financially stable, and he's fairly popular at school. In addition, his therapy/self-help blog is going well, and he's glad to be helping people with their own problems.Things change with a message.

Keith finds himself becoming friends with the boy, while also trying to help a bullying victim in his history class, named James Calloway and hesitant to trust other people. In doing so, Keith learns that people aren't all bad, things aren't always as they are on the surface, and even the most broken can find a way to pick up the pieces and heal.
