Windsor Davies, (28 August 1930 — 17 January 2019), was a Welsh actor best known for starring as Sergeant Major "Shut Up" Williams in It Ain't Half Hot, Mum.

He didn't become a professional actor until his thirties, but still managed to have a career full of recognisable roles. His most famous role, Sergeant Major Williams in It Ain't Half Hot, Mum, was an uneducated bully based on similar individuals Davies had met during his time as a soldier. Williams had the Character Catchphrases of "Shut up!" and "Oh dear, how sad, never mind".

Aside from the Sergeant Major, his best known roles are Fred Ramsden (a role originally intended for Sid James) in Carry On Behind, Sergeant Major Bloomer in Carry On England, Oliver Smallbridge in Never the Twain and, as a voice actor, Sergeant Major Zero in Terrahawks

He died at the age of 88.
