Valerie Pachner (b. 26 June 1987) is an Austrian actress.

Although originally mostly involved in smaller theater and Central European television and film productions, she's began branching out into bigger projects since the mid-2010s. In 2016, she filmed her first American movie, Terrence Malick s A Hidden Life, where she played the wife of a German contentious objector during World War II.

Although the film wouldn't be released until 2019, her acclaimed turn got her noticed to start being cast in franchise roles. In late 2021, she starred in The King's Man as Mata Hari, a Dutch exotic dancer who was convicted of being a spy for the Germans during World War I. She also appears in 2022's Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore as Henrietta Fisher.

She was never even mentioned to be involved until a few months later when the film's website quietly updated its cast list.
  • Typecasting: So far, her roles in English and/or big budget projects have been period pieces set in the first half of the 20th century.
