Tribune Media Services (officially Gracenote) is the syndication arm of the Tribune Company. It was founded in 1933 as the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate to organize the sale of features to newspapers around North America. In 2014 it merged with Gracenote, a Tribune subsidiary focusing on providing media metadata.
