A TV network, one of the multitudes of "digi-nets" (networks carried on the digital subchannels on TV stations' over-the-air signals; it can also be seen on cable/telco systems if they carry the subchannel, and they likely do) out there. This TV specializes mainly in movies from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer library (specifically, the stuff that wasn't acquired by Turner Broadcasting and then absorbed into Warner Bros.. meaning all MGM films released after 1986, most of the United Artists library, and many other companies, such as Orion Pictures, that MGM has bought over the years), but also airs TV series late at night and early in the morning. Cookie Jar Entertainment and subsidiary DiC Entertainment provided the non-educational and educational children's programming on the channel. In November 2013, co-owner Weigel Broadcasting transferred its operations to Tribune Broadcasting (due to Weigel now having the far more successful MeTV to deal with), and as a result, Cookie Jar Toons/This is for Kids were dropped and replaced with acquired E/I programming which now airs exclusively on Sundays. Sinclair Broadcast Group, the Mega Corp. which is unfortunately set to acquire Tribune Media, will program a new three-hour morning block called KidsClick which is set to launch July 1, 2017.
