Rosalind Knight, (3 December 1933 – 19 December 2020), was a British character actress of stage, screen, and television.

In 1953, she joined the West of England Theatre Company for eight months. A producer spotted her, and she was thusly cast as a schoolgirl in Blue Murder at St. Trinian's. In 1959, she appeared in two of the Carry On films; In her second, Carry On Teacher, she had a starring role as frosty school inspector Felicity Wheeler, who was courted by Kenneth Connor's science master.

In The '60s, she appeared in more films (notably another St. Trinian's film and Tom Jones) but her career seemed to slow down until The '80s, when she became a regular face on British TV. In that decade alone, she racked up appearances in Coronation Street, Nancy Astor, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Mapp & Lucia, and Only Fools and Horses.

Her most notable role came in 1999 as Beryl Merit, a retired prostitute and the landlady to James Dreyfus and Kathy Burke in Gimme, Gimme, Gimme; Knight made frequent appearances in all three series. Near the end of her career, she had a small recurring role in Friday Night Dinner as "Horrible Grandma" Cynthia Goodman.

She died at the age of 87.
