Creator / Robin Givens

Robin Simone Givens (born November 27, 1964 in New York City) is an American actor and model. She starred in the sitcom Head of the Class, which proved to be her Star-Making Role. She went on to star in several movies, including Boomerang (1992) and Blank Man.

In 1988, Givens married boxer Mike Tyson. Their relationship soon after became very abusive, and within a year Givens filed for divorce. Despite suffering much domestic abuse, public sentiment turned against Givens, and many accused her of being a Gold Digger who only married Tyson for his money. The fallout from the divorce severely hurt her career, and it wasn't until many years later that she would make a Career Resurrection by starring in Tyler Perry productions, Christian-themed movies, and making television series appearances.

Kristen Wilson plays her in the movie Tyson.
