Quvenzhanénote Wallis (born August 28, 2003 in Houma, Louisiana) is an American TV and film actress. She made her acting debut in Beasts of the Southern Wild, which she auditioned for when she was only 5 years old. For this role, she earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in 2013 at the age of 9, making her the youngest person to ever earn a nomination in that category, a title she still holds to this day.
Wallis has also starred in Annie (2014) and Trolls and has guest starred on Blackish and American Horror Stories.
