Petersburg Animation Studio (Russian: Студия анимации «Петербург», formerly Petersburg Computer Animation Studio) is an animation studio specializing in 2D and 3D animation. Based in St. Petersburg, Russia and founded on March 31, 2003 by Ilya Popov and Anatoly Prokhorov, the studio started with and is best known for the KikoRiki series and its spin-offs.
In 2010, Popov and Prokhorov founded Riki Group, a greater parent company that Petersburg Animation Studio became a part of as one of their two animation studios (alongside Aeroplane Productions, creators of The Fixies).
