I feel like sometimes being a religious person is like being a writer, in that I will quit, and just not tell anybody. Like, "This is just too hard, I quit for today." And then something inspirational will happen, and like, "I'm back on! I'm back on the wagon!"
Melissa Leilani Larson is an American Mormon writer and playwright based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her plays commonly feature women in leading roles, and some center on Mormonism. She is the youngest person and first woman to receive three Association for Mormon Letters (AML) awards.
