She has been in a number of films and TV series since her teenage years. Madeira's best known for her roles as Moe on the teen drama Trinkets and then Deena in Fear Street, a trilogy of films. Both are Netflix Originals. Since then she has become more widely known and gained attention.
Madeira is married to fellow Canadian actor Lovell Adams-Gray, whom she's been with since 2017. She is a practicing Christian.
