JumpStart Games, Inc. was an educational video game company that existed from 1991 to 2023. Originally known as Knowledge Adventure, it was founded by Rick Gibson and brothers Larry and Bill Gross. It was based in Torrance, California.
The company is most notable for creating the JumpStart Edutainment Game series, a property which the company would rename itself after in 2012. It also became the owners of the Blaster Series after acquiring Davidson & Associates in 1998. In 2014, it bought Neopets from Viacom. After JumpStart was shuttered in 2023, Neopets was transferred over to Fluffy Dog Studios.
