"I've just been fisting Norman Lamont. Talk about a red box."

Julian Francis McDonald Clary (born 25 May 1959) is a British comedian known for his flamboyant personality. He refers to himself as a "renowned homosexual", and often wears heavy glam make-up and dresses in outrageous clothes.

In 1989, he co-hosted Trick or Treat, an ITV Game Show, before finding more success with another game show, Sticky Moments with Julian Clary, for Channel 4. In 1992, he starred in Terry and Julian and also appeared in the Carry On Revival film, Carry On Columbus.

He appeared at the British Comedy Awards in 1993, where he infamously joked about how the set resembled Hampstead Heath before remarking he'd just been fisting Norman Lamont. The audience loved the joke, but the media were furious and tried to have Clary pulled from TV. These attempts were unsuccessful and three years later, Clary starred in All Rise for Julian Clary.

In the late '90s, he began to appear in the ITV Pantos and was the subject of This Is Your Life in 2001 during the curtain call of Cinderella.

Clary also recently appeared as a contestant in the 16th series of Taskmaster.
