Jim True-Frost (born July 31, 1965 in Greenwich, Connecticut) is an American actor. Alongside his film and television career, he has also been active in theatre, including at Chicago’s famed Steppenwolf Theatre. He is best known for Singles, The Hudsucker Proxy, and The Wire.
True-Frost’s name at birth was “James True.” When he married lawyer Cora Frost, each took a hyphenated name consisting of both maiden names. The True-Frosts have two children.
