Jay Thomas (born Jon Thomas Terrell, July 12, 1948 – August 24, 2017) was an American actor, comedian, and radio personality best known for Mork & Mindy, Cheers, and Love & War.
He was married to Sally Michelson and they had two children and he had another son, songwriter J.T. Harding.
Thomas died of throat cancer in 2017.
