Born June 8, Io Sakisaka is a manga artist whose works are primarily for a Shoujo audience and published in Bessatsu Margaret. She made her debut in 1999 with Sakura, Chiru, and led a string of minor successes until her Breakthrough Hit with Strobe Edge nearly a decade later. Her following series, Blue Spring Ride, brought her universal acclaim, and today she's one of the better known shoujo manga artists in the industry.
According to her Twitter, she's also a fan of Shinee, particularly Taemin.
