Giovanni Gonnelli, also known as Il Cieco da Gambassi or 'The blindman from Gambassi' (April 4, 1603-1664) was an Italian sculptor during the Baroque period.

After becoming blind due to suffering the effects of deprivation and labor after the Germans stormed the capital of Duke of Mantua, Carlo Gonzaga, he became a sculptor using clay. His patrons included Grand Duke Of Tuscany Ferdinand and Pope Urban VIII.

He had ten children.
