Dr. Eve L. Ewing (born 1986) is a sociologist of education and a writer from Chicago. She is the author of several poetry collections, including Electric Arches and 1919 and the non-fiction Ghosts in the Schoolyard: Racism and School Closings on Chicago's South Side. Her work has been published by the New Yorker, the Atlantic, and the New York Times.
She was the author of the solo Ironheart comic book, Outlawed and the 2020 relaunch of Champions (2020). Here is her Twitter.
