Dynamix is a Video Game developing company. It was founded in 1984, purchased by Sierra in 1990, and went defunct in 2001.

They are most notable for their series of simulators such as the critically acclaimed Red Baron and Star Siege series, and the enormously popular Tribes franchise, which continued even past the dissolution of Dynamix, gaining a prequel and a sequel.

Tribes 2 was built on a prototype of their Torque Game Engine, which was later licensed to indie developers as a simple but powerful and cheap note  engine to build off of. The engine is still in development (under GarageGames, founded by former Dynamix employees) and available for licensing.

Not to be confused with the Rhythm Game Dynamix by C4Cat.
