Dana Michelle Plato (née Strain, November 7, 1964 – May 8, 1999) was an American actress, best known for Diff'rent Strokes (1978–86), Night Trap (1992), and California Suite (1978).
She was married to Lanny Lambert and Scott Atkins and had one child with Lambert.
Plato died in 1999 at the age of 34 by suicide by overdosing on multiple drugs.
