C. M. Atanasio was born in 1988, in Bethlahem Pennsylvania and grew up in a military family that moved often. He grew up with a love of literature and a large family library. His adoration for adventure and the great epics drove his passion for storytelling, and he began writing at the age of thirteen.
Though not particularly academically gifted, Mike stuck with his hobby and became almost entirely self-taught, blazing his own path and forming his own style.
He has contributed several works with pages on TV Tropes.
