Clayton Johnson Heermance Jr. (June 18, 1908-September 8, 1969) was an American radio actor, announcer, and game show host best known for Beat the Clock, To Tell the Truth, and for playing Superman in various media.
He was married to Heloise Law Green and actress Marian Shockley and had three children. His sister was actress June Collyer and great nephew is Will Collyer.
