AlphaDream Corporation, Ltd. was a Japanese video game developer founded in 2000 by Tetsuo Mizuno and Chihiro Fujioka, who previously worked at Square. Spun off from the staffing agency of a construction company, the studio was best known for its partnership with Nintendo, which included the creation of the Mario & Luigi series of Eastern RPGs.
In October 2019, AlphaDream declared bankruptcy, as the diminishing sales of their Nintendo 3DS titles and high costs associated with gearing up for multiplatform HD game development caused them to accrue massive debt.
