The Knight Life is a comic strip created by cartoonist, Keith Knight, the creator of The K Chronicles. The series is meant to be portrayed as a somewhat Lighter and Softer version of The K Chronicles to introduce the characters and topics to a more kid-friendly audience. Characters pretty much remain the same and topics and reoccuring themes remain awfully similar.

- Central Theme: Much like The K Chronicles, The Knight Life focuses on the same humorous portrayal of racial issues the real life Knight likes to talk about.
- Expy: Characters are based off of real life people in Keith Knight's life.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Keith's dad.
- Lighter and Softer: The series was meant to be a slightly more family-friendly version of The K Chronicles so he could introduce characters and topics to kids so they could understand them earlier on in life.
- Nice Guy: Keith is an everyday nice guy and Gunther appears to be a loyal friend.
- Nice Girl: Keith's wife.
