The Boy With a Balloon for a Head is a three-part comic series from Higher Universe Comics
where Tasha's family gets some new neighbours: A couple with a boy who is the same age as her... and has a balloon for a head! The new boy has difficulty making friends due to his condition — and, before long, rumours spread about him and his family.
Has no relation whatsoever to The Boy With An Arse For A Face, despite the similar titles.

- Adults Are Useless:
- Not on does the principal believe that the boy with a head for a balloon was guilty of smoking, and even his parents believe the principal - despite the fact he isn't even physiologically capable of smoking!
- Further on in the comics, Tasha's parents are outraged over a a drawing of the two of them, stating "Thank you so much for your friendship", that the neighbour boy left for Tasha.
- Despair Event Horizon: The eponymous character reaches this after losing his one and only friend.
- Downer Ending: The eponymous character pops himself at the end.
- Driven to Suicide: After losing his one and only friend, Tasha, the eponymous boys decides to pop himself.
- Fantastic Racism: The eponymous character's condition is why he has difficulty making friends.
- Felony Misdemeanor: Tasha's parents are horrified by the gift the neighbour boy left for her, and uses this as grounds for forbidding Tasha to associate with him any further. It turns out to be a drawing of the two of them, stating "Thank you so much for your friendship".
- I Just Want to Have Friends: This is all the balloon boy really wants.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Tasha's reaction upon finding the gift the new boy left for him, after having ended her friendship with him.
- Only Sane Man: Tasha is the only one to defend the boy with a balloon for a head. Sadly, even she starts to think that her parents and her friends "may have a point" — which leads to the eponymous character's Despair Event Horizon.
