A comic book by Boom! Studios. Three siblings - older sister Charlie and twins Trevor and Jan - who are the descendants of Pandora of Greek legend, and their pet cat, Po, accidentally discover a pot which happens to be the new form of Pandora's Box, and let all kinds of horrors loose on the world. And then Prometheus of Greek legend possesses Po, who can now talk. Oh, and their phone camera can defeat monsters by trapping them inside the phone.

Now they have to undo the curse before sunset!

A standalone comic with no additional issues, the story ends in such a way that a sequel isn't impossible, but the story is also totally self-contained.

This comic book contains examples of:

  • All Webbed Up: A whole bunch of people are webbed up by Arachne, who is now part-human part-spider, in an auditorium. She then starts doing it to the protagonists.
  • Bilingual Bonus: There are a handful of moments in which an English sentence is mixed with another language, such as a Greek word, or a Japanese expression.
  • Blinded by the Light: A smartphone camera is used to scare away an attacking rat-like creature.
  • Casual Danger Dialog: Even with all the things that are going on and all the dangerous events that occur, the characters all have casual semi-jokey things to say. Like "I'm fine, but uh... could use a little help!" when being held in the clutches of a gorgon.
  • Demonic Possession: Why their cat suddenly starts talking once the Sealed Evil in a Can is let out. Well, it's not a demon. It's Prometheus of Greek legend.
  • Don't Explain the Joke: After discovering that Prometheus is possessing their pet cat Po, Trevor jokingly names him Po-metheus. He then explains the joke to Prometheus, and is promptly told by Jan that it's not funny if he has to explain it.
  • Gender-Blender Name: The older sister is named Charlie.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: There are two:
    • Trevor uses the camera to take a picture of the creature that is flying away with him as its prisoner, causing both the creature and himself to be trapped in Pandora's Box.
    • Prometheus swaps places with Trevor, freeing him from the box, but sending his own spirit back, and causing Po to no longer be possessed.
  • In-Series Nickname: Prometheus, possessing the cat Po, is named Po-metheus, and the name quickly sticks.
  • Hold Your Hippogriffs: "What in Olympus is this?" says a possessed Suddenly Speaking cat when looking at a smartphone.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: How the adventure starts. The kids accidentally break a pot containing a bunch of evil spirits.
  • Our Mermaids Are Different: The mermaids that were summoned are not nice, and have faces that don't look totally human. They try to pull people in to the water to drown them.
  • Runic Magic: A rune on the new phone of one of the sisters is the reason why the phone can trap monsters inside it. Other characters from ancient Greece recognize the rune.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: This goes in both directions:
    • One is found in a cave and accidentally broken by one of the kids, letting all the evil out.
    • However, taking photos of monsters with the help of a rune-enchanted phone can trap them inside the phone.
  • Shoe Slap: In a desperate attempt to get a monster away from their sister, two of the siblings throw their shoes.
  • Suddenly Speaking: The event that lets creatures loose on the world, also causes the kids' pet cat to start talking.
  • Taken for Granite: Stheno the gorgon might not be Medusa, but she still is able to turn a boy to stone indirectly. One of her snakes bites the boy and statue-fies him.
  • Tentacle Rope: Stheno, the powerful gorgon, has her sword stolen by Charlie in battle, but turns the tables by turning it into a thick snake that wraps itself around her to restrain her.
