Once an advanced militant society, Dragonspyre had an esteemed Academy rivaling that of the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts in Wizard City. The inhabitants once held a special interest in Fire Magic. All of this changed one day, however, with the summoning of the Fire Titan, who laid siege to the world and, eventually, utterly destroyed it. To this day, the titan lies atop the Great Spyre, a volcano at the world's heart, comatose.
