* HateSink: Her character seems to have no other purpose in the series than to display how TeensAreMonsters. She's unbelievably arrogant, vicious, vindictive, vain, and worst of all, petty. There is not a single appearance where she's not either contemplating to KickTheDog, or actually doing so. She surrounds herself with a PaidHarem, and she ''always'' seeks to make an example out of anyone who so much as suggests violating even the smallest of Mermaid's rules, whether the offender is aware of it or not. Those who object just simply haven't been beaten down hard enough. From as early as episode 2, it's clear that there is no despicable act she's willing to overlook in this endeavor. By contrast, Momoka, the ''actual'' BigBad, is a WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds due to her [[PlayingWithSyringes treatment]] by The Organization, and even gives a KickTheSonOfABitch moment to Charlotte, [[KickTheSonOfABitch slapping the arrogant bitch right out of her]].

* KickTheSonOfABitch: It would have been hypocritical of Saejima if she complained about Charlotte stepping on her hand, after the way she treated her own partner.
** She pretty much erased any trace of Miranda's existence after her defeat at Mirei's hands. Hard to blame her after the [[RapeAsDrama stunt]] Miranda tried to pull on Mirei.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: Slapping Charlotte and telling her to shut her mouth in episode 11, coldly awakening Charlotte to the fact that she was never anything more than Momoka's pawn. Cruel, yes, but Charlotte had spent the entire series being [[{{Jerkass}} an absolutely massive bitch]], it's hard to feel any sympathy for her.

* MrsRobinson: Despite being in a relationship with Lady J, Rain kisses Mirei because she finds the teen girl "interesting." She later admits, to Mirei's face while in front of Lady J, that she likes Mirei while winking. Later on, during an OVA, she admits that watching Mirei and Mamori kiss turned her on.

* WolverineClaws: Her Arms are a pair of gauntlets with extremely long claws from fingers that she claims to [[AbsurdlySharpClaws be able to slash through anything]]. Funnily enough, we've seen those claws being broken or stopped at least 3 times. Broken once by both Mamori and Lady J in Arm's mode in episode 4 and stopped by Akira's Arm in episode 5. Kasumi herself doesn't hesitate to try just kicking them off when clashing with Charlotte, so perhaps, as sharp as the claws are, they are in fact weak and easily broken.

* WardrobeMalfunction: The biggest offender in the show. She can't take two steps without her ample bust slipping out from her corset.

* {{Bishonen}}: He's the only man on the island but has an extremely androgynous appearance. [[spoiler:Subverted in Episode 7 as "he" turns out to be a woman.]]

* ContraltoOfDanger: Her voice is a few octaves lower than her teammates'

* TheyJustDontGetIt: Nukui's "seduction" technique is nothing but this. First, she insists on calling Mamori "Virgin-san" despite Mamori ''repeatedly'' correcting her that her name is "Tokomone" and visibly becoming more and more irritated. Then she uses moves and pick-up lines that [[CasanovaWannabe Leisure Suit Larry]] would find cheesy, and wonders why Mamori is squicked by them. Lastly, she just grabs Mamori and throws her unto the bed, and is flat out shocked and outraged when Mamori actually rejects her. Nukui might be able to teach people the basics, but she falls flat when it comes to getting into the finer points herself.

* AssholeVictim: Just like Miyasato.

* CombatTentacles / WhipItGood: When she's equipped with her Arms partner, her primary weapon is a series of high-tension cables that she either uses to tie down her opponents, whip them or both.

* CorruptTheCutie: This is what she does to Mamori in episode 11 [[RapeAsDrama in the most horrific way imaginable.]]

* FashionableAsymmetry: Wears a thigh-high on one leg.

* PaperTiger: Acts all intimidating outside of combat. However, her battle against both Mirei and Lady Lady shows her being utterly outmatched. If Kasumi wasn't there, she would have most likely been defeated by Mirei. Of course, it should be noted that the only ones she's ever fought on-screen are [[SuperSoldier Mirei]], [[TheDreaded Lady Lady]] and [[AuthorityEqualsAsskicking Akira]], so it could just be an example of her getting [[TheWorfEffect Worfed]]; she may very well be able to back up her boasting against the other inhabitants of the island.
