    Party Members

Haku

An amnesiac man found by Kuon in the mountains of Kujyuri, he is the main character of the "Mask" saga. He fights with a steel fan bequeathed by Kuon.

Kuon

An apothecary journeying in Yamato, she is secretly the princess of Tuskur. She is the heroine of the "Mask" saga. She fights mostly barefisted, sometimes throwing kunai.

Rulutieh

The youngest princess of Kujyuri, she is taken by Ukon to the capital of Yamato where she eventually joins the cast. She fights with Cocopo (or rather, Cocopo fights for her), her overgrown Hororon bird (a sort of quail-like bird) that she uses as a mount.

  • Stone Wall: Just like in Deception and Truth she is characterized with having the most HP and a potent Healing Factor, making her an excellent choice for an aggro tank.

Nekone

A stern young girl who happens to be the youngest person who has passed Imperial Exam to become a court scholar as well as Oshtor's younger sister. She bonds with Kuon to become sworn sisters. She fights with magic and with Kiripon, a shikigami companion.

Kiwru

The crown prince of Ennakamuy. He is a younger boy who holds himself to a very high standard and also happens to be Oshtor's sworn brother. He fights with his bow.

Atuy

Princess of Shyahoro, while she is on the lookout for a boyfriend, she also happens to be a freakishly effective fighter. She fights with a peculiar-looking spear.

Ougi

Younger brother of Nosuri and an Evenkuruga himself, he works and serves to his sister's interests. He fights with twin swords.

Nosuri

An Evenkuruga, she is a Robin-Hood-esque bandit who steals in the name of justice. A fateful encounter with Anju, the crown princess of Yamato, ends up with her in the Party. She fights with her bow, whether it involves shooting with it or, most likely, striking someone with it.

Uruuru & Saraana

The Kamunagi of Chains. They are twin priestesses with exceptional magical powers. They are "given" to Haku and now serve as his servants, whether he likes it or not. Obviously, they fight with magic.

  • Squishy Wizard: The two of them have unparalleled attack power but they easily crumple if they don't have someone to draw aggro for them as they have low defense and a very slow attack chain.

Jachdwalt

A swordsmaster who ended up as a slave-soldier for Uzurusha in the war against Yamato, he ends up working for the Party when they prove they can help him with his predicament (and promptly do). He fights with a Katana using his self-learned fighting style.

  • Counter-Attack: He's a master of these. While he can be used straightfowardly, his full potential comes when he can interrupt his attacks with a well-timed counter so to catch his opponent's attack.

Maroro

A scholar and tactician of Yamato who works with Ukon (and later, Dekopompo), he is a meek noble who excels in fire magic, which is what he fights with.

Ukon

A chivalrous warrior, he is actually Oshtor's secret identity designed to handle the lower ranks of Yamato's population. He fights with his sword.

Munechika (DLC)

A Pillar General and Akuruka bearer, she is also the Imperial Governess, the person assigned to educate Anju, the crown princess. She is specialized in defense. Her weapon is a huge hammerhead used as a gauntlet.

Oshtor (DLC)

The Guard General of the Right and Akuruka bearer, he is Ukon's true identity and Haku's employer. He fights with his sword along with water projectiles.

    NPC Bosses

Moznu

A lowly bandit who is often beleaguered by the Party. He fights with his trusty axe.

Dekopompo

One of the Eight Pillar Generals. He fights by throwing bombs.

  • Throw Down the Bomblet: His weapon in this game. He's like a blind, incompetent Dong Zhuo with the way he randomly throws his bombs. In fact, you can almost safely ignore him and dispatch Bokoinante first.

Bokoinante

Dekopompo's loyal retainer. He fights with his polearm.

  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: His AI consists of rushing at the players and then doing a random attack. This is the main reason why he's significantly harder to fight than his boss and will actually make fighting Dekopompo difficult if you don't beat him first.

Zeguni (DLC)

Kurou

Benawi (DLC)

Vurai

  • Final Boss: As in Deception, he is the final boss of the game.

Mikazuchi

  • Optional Boss: He's essentially the final boss of the free missions. His very presence in the game as a boss was never hinted until you complete the rest of the missions.

    Monster Bosses

Boro-Gigiri

A gigantic Gigiri (scorpion-like creature).

Scarlet Gaunji

Azure Gaunji

Tatari-Unkami

Gutuardar

Faithful Orkeko (DLC)

A gigantic orke (wolf-like animal) who is the boss of the Shibuya DLC.
