  • Break the Haughty: This conversation alone:
Tiffany: Aaah, Mr. Monteleone you preening asexual B-minus giving power-mongering rum-soak for an English teacher. Suck on this, I'm going to Harvard!
Mr. Monteleone: Ahh, how wonderful. The most elite school in this nation. Thanks to my teaching, you'll be woefully unprepared! I'm sure you'll fail completely there. Aside from which, Harvard costs $28,000 a year! Your father couldn't make that much money in a lifetime! See you at Burger King, Ms. Malloy? I can't wait to make you hold the pickles. (chuckles and leaves happily) At-hot-hot-hot-hot!
  • Evil Brit: Has a very thick British accent.
  • Evil vs. Evil: Yes, he's a jerk, but his adversary Tiffany isn't much better.
  • Jerkass: He one time stapled an F to one of his students' chests for immediately asking him what grade he got. And constantly attacks Tiffany with poor grades and verbal insults.
  • Last-Name Basis: Always addresses Tiffany as "Ms. Malloy".
  • Lower-Class Lout: Claims to live on cat food and steals apples from private property to survive.
  • Sadist Teacher: He has an awful life (that is unseen, only described by him) in that his teacher salary hardly allows him to afford food and utilities, so he takes his rage out on his own students, especially Tiffany.
  • Signature Laugh: "At-hot-hot-hot-hot!"
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: To Tiffany in seasons 3 and 4.
