* RecurringElement: ''How'' many times has an Eeveelution been relevant to a TPP run? A seemingly normal Beedrill that as a Kakuna, the display thought it was a Fletchinder and a Level 0 Charizard. Naturally, the chat believes this to be the latest incarnation of [[LetsPlay/TwitchPlaysPokemonCrystalAnniversary OLDEN]]. Was originally nicknamed [=HZZZZZZyyy=].

* HistoryRepeats: Just like in ''Anniversary Red'', a Kakuna is caught early on and causes strife due to its inability to attack. Overall, it's the [[LetsPlay/TwitchPlaysPokemonX fourth]] [[LetsPlay/TwitchPlaysPokemonAlphaSapphire time]] that the party contained a member of the Weedle family on Day 1.[[note]]Although due to the random evolutions in Alpha Sapphire, that Weedle became a Spewpa roughly a minute into Day 2 and eventually ended up as a Masquerain.[[/note]]

** IneffectualSympatheticVillain: Whether it's in-battle or in fanon, she hasn't had much success. The former eventually changed, though.

** EdibleThemeNaming: Also continues a run of food-related names: Burrito and Nacho are obvious and Scumbreon was also known as Taco, while Sam had his Kanto Krispy Kremes and Lampeon [[OneOfTheseThingsIsNotLikeTheOthers evolved from fried chicken.]]

* PlayingWithFire: She chose Charmander.

** BrokenStreak: X's Beedrill was already boxed by the end of Day 1 and both ''Anniversary Red''[='=]s Kakuna and ''Alpha Sapphire''[='=]s Weedle got released, but Silent Haze has been taught an HM and became a valued member of the team, even landing the final blow against [[FinalBoss Pallet Patrol]]. It wasn't enough to keep him from being boxed to allow Bucket to return, however.

* AnimalThemedSuperbeing: Her alter ego is the [=GolDuck=].

* NoInsideVoice: The interpretation of his original name was that he was always screaming. When he was renamed to a series of dashes, it was interpreted as his yelling getting so loud that it was no longer audible to the human ear. Paul's first capture. Originally named [=STTqPkPk..=], which is where its nickname came from. Evolved to Graveler on Day 2, with its nickname changing to match.

A Zubat caught early in the game. It struggled a lot as a Zubat, but with perseverance became Paul's strongest Pokémon and was eventually allowed to evolve to Crobat, something that the Mob's [[Characters/TwitchPlaysPokemonPlatinum last Golbat]] never did.

A Sylveon evolved from an Eevee acquired from the Prize Corner on Day 4. If it were allowed to level up to Level 20 before being given an Evolution Stone or the Magic Wand[[note]]the method used in this game to evolve Eevee to Sylveon[[/note]], it would have become an Espeon. However, the Magic Wand was successfully used.
* FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon: Fanon has him being pure evil. This interpretation was almost immediate, and likely stems from the fact that his name references a franchise of burger restaurants while his trainer is associated with pizza delivery.
