Click here to see Super Werehog

An alternate version of the true blue hedgehog, but this version never had the Dark Gaia Essence within him removed. He's since been on new, altered adventures and wrestling with his inner demons as fate leads him down a dark and thorny path to salvation. He's just as heroic as his counterpart and will crack wise at a moment's notice, but don't risk trying his patience when he's mad...

    The Nightmare

  • The Dreaded: Is this to Sonic, for obvious reasons.
  • Enemy Within: It is the manifestation of the Dark Gaia's essence within Sonic, appearing in his dreams and haunting his mind non-stop.

    Classic Sonic the Werehog

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/classicwerehog.jpg

A past version of Sonic. After an accident with negative Chaos Energy acting as a conductor to Dark Gaia's Essence, Classic Sonic 'contracted' the Werehog form from his older counterpart. Unlike said counterpart, however, he takes his transformation in stride and is completely unbothered by it. The circumstances for his accidental transformation were set up by his learning of Chaos Control.

What If Emerl Survived?

    Emerl
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2021_08_29_at_23_36_08_eyuvdswxgaeyas2_jpeg_image_1920_1200_pixels_scaled_72.png

In this timeline, Sonic was able to save Emerl from his tragic fate. Although he lost an arm, Emerl has happily adventured alongside his friends.

    E- 124 Gemerl
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2021_08_29_at_23_09_09_eyuushjwaayi1qi_jpeg_image_2048_1208_pixels_scaled_67.png

Despite Emerl not perishing in this particular timeline, the psuedo-Gizoid known as Gemerl was still created, only this version was built purely from Eggman tech. He was designed in this instance with a mind not unlike Metal Sonic's, with an unshakable need to prove himself better than the one he was built to destroy: Emerl.

    Masterl

  • Fusion Dance: He is the fusion of Emerl and Gemerl, being more powerful than both.

What If Sonic Lost His Memory?

    Empire Sonic
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/eesxwymxgam_ptl.jpg
"I am Sonic Android. The ultimate battle life-form created by Dr. Eggman. I was born to help the doc save this world, and bring its people onto a better path, free of tyrannical lunatics like you! That is who I am!"

In the wake of the ARK Incident, Sonic sacrificed his life to save Shadow. But miraculously, the Blue Blur survived his fall from space... at the cost of losing his memory, something Eggman was all too happy to take advantage of...

  • Anti-Villain: He ends up becoming an antagonist and joining the Eggman Empire, but only because Eggman has tricked him into thinking they're allies and Shadow betrayed him. He's lied to into thinking Tails and Shadow are villains and Eggman is a good guy.
  • Criminal Amnesiac: A combination of being kept in the dark about his past by Rouge and manipulaton by Eggman lead Sonic down a dark path to serving Eggman.
  • Evil Costume Switch: Upon being tricked into joining the Eggman Empire, Sonic donned a new Eggman-inspired outfit, consisting of a pair of white, yellow and grey elbow-length gloves, as well as a pair of knee-length white striped, red and grey boots with the Eggman Empire's logo emblazoned on them.
  • I Am What I Am: When Black Shadow attempts to convince Sonic that Dr. Eggman has been lying to him, Sonic responds with the above quote.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Rouge not being truthful about his past leaves him distrustful, and gives Eggman an opening to brainwash him.
  • Unwitting Pawn: Dr. Eggman wastes no time tricking the amnesiac hedgehog into working for him.

    Black Shadow

After being saved from falling to Earth by Sonic, Shadow went on a quest to fill the shoes of the Blue Blur. But after his encounter with Metal Overlord, an amnesiac Sonic, and receiving a warning of a dark future from Silver Shadow would eventually embark on a journey to obtain the Chaos Emeralds... and become the Black Arms' Leader...

  • But Now I Must Go: After restoring Sonic's memories and helping destroy the Sonic Androids, Black Shadow imprisons Dr. Eggman aboard the Black Comet departs from Mobius due to the Black Arms being too destructive to remain on the planet. However he makes sure to gives Sonic a homing beacon to call him back just in case.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Applies even more than usual; he gains a more sinister appearance upon becoming the Black Arms leader, but is more dedicated to being a hero out of respect for Sonic
  • Evil Costume Switch: After Black Doom gives him the power to command the Black Arms, Shadow's eyes turn yellow-orange and gain slitted pupils as a result. Then after killing Black Doom he takes his robe and other jewels as mementos. The trope is however Subverted, as he's still every bit the hero he was before.
  • The Mole: He has zero interest of siding with Black Doom in this timeline, but recognizes if he fakes being on his side, he can feed information to G.U.N and slowly usurp power from Doom by playing on his ego.
  • Survivor's Guilt: He has a strong sense of guilt for being the one who didn't fall and lose their memory like Sonic, blaming himself for his predicament.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Shadow goes from being the Ultimate Lifeform to becoming the leader of the Black Arms.

    Silver the Hedgehog

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/silver_0.png

A hedgehog from 200 years in the future who was sent back to the past to warn our heroes of the impending threat of the Sonic Androids.

  • Adaptational Early Appearance: Due to the circumstances of his Bad Future, Silver arrives in the past after the events of Sonic Heroes instead of Sonic 06.
  • Bad Future: Silver comes from one that has been ravaged by the Sonic Androids for 200 years, with only pockets of survivors remaining. In a last-ditch effort, these survivors collected the Chaos Emeralds to create a one-way time machine and Silver was chosen to travel to the past and change history.
  • Psychic Powers: His main ability.
  • Set Right What Once Went Wrong: Silver's main mission, as usual.

    Metal Sonic
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ms_8.png

Betrayed by his master after manipulating Sonic to his side, Metal Sonic was forced to side with his sworn enemies.

  • Enemy Mine: Upon being thrown out after Sonic joins Eggman, Metal is forced to work together with Tails and his friends.
  • Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: Metal does not take being replaced by the real Sonic at Eggman's side very well.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Ends up on the receiving end of this once Dr. Eggman tricks the real Sonic into siding with him.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2021_09_10_at_19_12_24_e_123_omega_art_2d_v2_png.png

  • Adaptational Villainy: Instead of becoming an Anti-Hero like his canon counterpart, he acts as the main villain created to hunt down and destroy Gamma.
  • Death by Adaptation: This Omega is destroyed by Gamma, unlike the main universe version who is still alive.
  • Defiant to the End: Even as he meets his end at Gamma's hand, he still boasts that he is the world's most powerful E-series robot.
  • Killed Off for Real: Ends up destroyed by Gamma.
  • Mythology Gag: In this this timeline, Omega was created to destroy the rogue E-Series robot, not unlike his Archie counterpart.
