One of Paul Terry's next attempts at making a star character alongside Kiko the Kangaroo.
- Ambiguously Gay: He's a bit flamboyant and attached to his companion Sour Puss, but some shorts do show him attempting to woo a lady goose.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: His voice is based off Ed Wynn, a voice that would later be imitated by Wally Gator of Hanna-Barbera (among other characters).
Sour Puss
- Butt-Monkey: Sometimes is the victim of Gandy's antics.
- Cats Are Mean: He's a cat and very unscrupulous.
- Jerkass: He's not very nice.
- Mars Needs Women: Gets turned on by women, as shown in one short.
- Meaningful Name: True to his name, he's a cat with an unpleasant attitude.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: His voice characterization is an impersonation of Jimmy Durante.
Heckle and Jeckle
Luno the White Stallion
A made-for-TV Terrytoons series from the '60s, about a young boy named Tim who experiences many adventures with his toy marble horse, a Pegasus named Luno. Tim brings Luno to life with the Magical Incantation: "O winged horse of marble white, take me on a magic flight."
Farmer Alfalfa
Paul Terry's first star character, an alcoholic, tobacco chewin' old hick, constantly at war with his surroundings or his own livestock.
