''These'' Kraang, however bumbling, are a hundred-strong HiveMind who conquered and enslaved almost all their race barring Bishop's resistance movement.
* AdaptationalVillainy: The Kraang are basically an evil inversion of the Utroms from Mirage comics and the 2003 cartoon. While those Utrom accidentally created the mutagen as part of a plan to return home, the Kraang accidentally created it as part of a plan to invade Earth.

* TheyKilledKennyAgain: In the majority of his appearances, he usually exits the episode in a blazing inferno, but he usually gets better with an UnexplainedRecovery every time. Though, he was finally KilledOffForReal in "Annihilation: Earth!" when the [[EvilVersusEvil Triceratons blew him, Kraang Prime and the Technodrome into smithereens]], which was not undone in "Earth's Last Stand".

* UnexplainedRecovery: He appeared to die in "The Invasion" when a giant chunk of rock dropped on him. He later returned in "Battle For New York", with no explanation for how he survived, and survives another apparent death and turns up in "Annihilation: Earth!".
