- So Proud of You: Gets this surprising reaction from Bill in the second season finale when he announces that he quit baseball since he realized that he only played it to please Bill and not because he enjoyed the game.

- Middle Child Syndrome: Feels forgotten in his family, given that all his parents' attention is on Ty's athletic accomplishments and taking care of Katie, The Baby of the Bunch.

Dana Sue's daughter, who is interested in photography and is close friends with Ty and Kyle Townsend.- Adapted Out: In the novels, Annie has a life-threatening eating disorder, which forces Dana Sue to bring Ronnie back to Serenity. In the series, Annie doesn't have an eating disorder and Dana Sue seeks out Ronnie for financial reasons related to her restaurant.
- Kissing Under the Influence: An intoxicated Annie kisses Ty when he takes her home after she drinks too much at a party. He brushes off the kiss because she was drunk.
