The Pact Worlds System
Native Species: None
- Bazaar of the Bizarre: The Brass Bazaar, which is staffed by beings from the elemental plane of fire. Since they don't require as much protection from the sun's effects, shopping there can be an adventure in itself.
Native Species: Anacites, Sharpwings
- Alien Sea: The Sea of Glass, created by a solar flare that melted the silicon surface of the planet.
- Death World: For organic life, at least. Its position near the sun and lack of natural atmosphere make journeys beyond specially tailored areas hazardous for most lifeforms.
- Mechanical Lifeforms: The native Anacites, which form their own strange ecosystem, are entirely mechanical.
- Industrialized Mercury: Aballon is the game's analogue of Mercury, and is mostly inhospitable to organic life. However, its rich metal deposits and population of hardworking Mechanical Lifeforms have made it the the Pact Worlds' primary industrial hub.
Native Species: Elves, Formians, Khizars, Lashuntas, various megafauna
- Our Elves Are Different: Castrovel is the original home world of the elves.
Native Species: Nuars, Space Goblins, numerous immigrant populations from Golarion
- Hub City: The presence of the Starstone, a Drift beacon of unusual power, and it's location and non-planet status (so as not to show favoritism) makes it the preferred meeting ground for various powers from the Pact Worlds and where it's center of government is located.
- Space Station: The largest completely artificial object in the Pact Worlds.
Native Species: Contemplatives, Hylki, Ikeshti, Shobhads, Ysoki
Native Species: Bloodbrothers, Verthani
Native Species: None (large Kasatha population)
- The Ark: The people of Kasatha build the Idari to carry a portion of their population away from their dying star to make the journey to a prophesized world of Akiton, only to find it was already populated by the time they got there.
- Centrifugal Gravity: The central major component of the Idari is a rotating drum, which contains most of the livable area and the ship's single biggest open interior volume.
- Generation Ships: The Idari was built for an interstellar journey before the advent of Drift travel, and consequently was built for a journey that would take many generations.
Native Species: Akatas, Diaspora Wyrms, Sarcesians, Surnochs
Native Species: Borais, Elebrians, Ellicoths''
- Death World: The planet is a post-apocalyptic radioactive wasteland that little life can survive on. Fortunately, that doesn't bother the undead Eoxians.
- Planet Destroyer: According to some of the legends, Eox developed a weapon capable of destroying other planets in the system, and they used it on two of them, creating the Dispora. However, using the weapons had feedback that turned Eox itself into an irradiated wasteland that couldn't support life, which is why they turned to undeath to keep their society existing.
- Pragmatic Villainy: The Eoxians aren't so much malevolent as they are cold and amoral. That pragmatism is what drives them to keep diplomatic relationships with the rest of the Pact (and in fact materially support the Pact) cordial.
- Token Evil Teammate: Eoxians are just as cold and callous towards the living as other undead, but they recognize they are part of the same solar system; in fact, it was the Eoxians who first signed onto the Pact Worlds.
