"I've never had something I wanted... until now."
One of the only rental boyfriends with 'options'. Aito is cold and distant with most people, especially with Yuzuha at first. He's able to turn his boyfriend mode on and off at the drop of a hat. He seems to be good at pretty much everything, which should mean he has big plans for the future... but he's completely dispassionate about almost all his talents.
- Broken Ace: Aito is good at everything. He's one of the most popular rental boyfriends, he can seduce women with a single look, he can do nearly anything very well if not perfectly on the first try, and... he doesn't care about any of that. In fact, when he's not in 'boyfriend mode', it seems like he doesn't care about much of anything. This is played with later, when he attends a conference about coffee with Yuzuha as part of a date. The presenter sees a lot of potential in him, but Aito's lack of drive to improve or learn has the presenter disappointed. However, Aito is still offered a job as a barista with the presenter's company thanks to his skill; eventually, he comes to realize that he really enjoys making coffee and learning about what he can do to improve.
- Defrosting Ice King: He doesn't really care about anyone in a romantic way, and he's even somewhat closed off to his friends in the cast. Then Yuzuha comes along... "never had something I wanted until now" indeed.
- When She Smiles: Outside of work, Aito tends not to smile very much. When he flips that switch and turns on the charm, people (mainly women) get weak knees. It's not even a real smile, but it looks real. One of the comments in Yuzuha's narration is wondering if his fake smile has that effect on her, how intense is his real smile going to be? His real smile is absolutely beautiful, and even more so for the fact that it's coming from his heart. Also, by the time his route is finished, thanks to Yuzuha, he starts to smile a bit more in general — especially when it's just the two of them.
