Peter Pan
Played by: Alexander Molony
- Adaptational Jerkass: He believed he can ALWAYS defeat Captain Hook on his own and he had a child Hook (then named James) banished because he missed his mother. He learns his lesson in the end.
- Badass in Distress: Although no slouch in a fight, he does end up in multiple situations which require him to be saved by either Wendy or Tiger Lily.
- Race Lift: In the original Disney film he's a white redhead, and he's traditionally white in other adaptations too, but in this film he's Ambiguously Brown and black-haired. This is ultimately zigzagged however due to J.M. Barrie never describing his appearance in detail, leaving it to the reader's imagination and the interpretation of whoever is adapting him.
Wendy Moira Angela Darling
Played by: Ever Anderson
- Adaptational Badass: The animated Wendy wasn't up for fighting. Here, she plays an active role.
- Full-Name Basis: Hook constantly refers to her by her full name, Wendy Moira Angela Darling.
Captain James Hook
Played by: Jude Law Dubbed by
- Fallen Hero: Originally a lost boy, but after getting lost at sea because he wanted to find his mother, he was raised by the pirates all up to his adult years, to which he then was rejected by Peter for growing up, which made Hook into the villain he is today.
Tinker Bell
Played by: Yara Shahidi
- Race Lift: She is Black in this version, whereas the original Disney film she was white with blonde hair.
The Lost Boys
- Adaptational Diversity: There were just white Lost Boys in the original. In this version, there are Lost Boys and Lost Girls of different races.
- Non-Indicative Name: The "Lost Boys" don't consist entirely of boys this time around.
