Dahlia, Archdemon of Hubris
A fiend with powers over ice to the point she could wipe out a small city, a disaster that could happen over a single and simple slight to her—such is the pride of the Archdemon of Hubris. But in an incident brought about by her own arrogance, she lost her mana, then her servants when they discovered this, now reduced to a fiend barely better than a human mage. The only servant she has now is Regina, who would be better seen as an Archdemon than Dahlia is, but she seems convinced by the prideful façade her lady keeps up (perhaps).
- Expy: Of any one single story about running misunderstandings and keeping up bluffs; Dahlia's case is that of someone who lost her powers and now has to pretend she still has them to be justifying her Archdemon façade.
Regina
Regina
The magician servant of the Archdemon of Hubris, Dahlia. Before her current service, she traveled the world for centuries in search of a master who could fulfill unknown qualifications, and attracted many prospective masters who sought her for her Archdemon-like powers, but none had those until she saw it in Dahlia. It is, however, questionable as to whether she truly is a servant given how she is the one treating her powerless master like a toy.
- Because You Were Nice to Me: The reason she serves Dahlia is not because she saved her from death's door, courtesy of Proxxon, but because she was easily awed by her magic tricks. All those who tried to recruit her looked at her powers and skills but not the one simple thing she puts effort into: being a stage magician.
- Yes-Man: Played With. Regina is perfectly aware that her master is powerless, but she pretends to go along with her bluffs and overpraise them to see what happens and what reactions she draws. The best way to describe her loyalty is that as long as it's amusing, she'll go for it.
