* CatSmile: You'll see it in the manga and a few times during the anime.

* WomenAreWiser: Subverted. She seems to be the most composed, serious member of the gaming club. But once her yaoi fetish is exposed, all that goes out the window.

* CatchPhrase: ''Kimo'' (basically a juvenile way of saying "gross!") and ''Saiaku'' (in context, "you're the worst").

* {{Tsundere}}: Kirino in the anime is a Type B towards Kyousuke and Kuroneko and ''very'' heavy on the tsuntsun; other versions are much more evenly balanced. All, eventually, [[DefrostingIceQueen defrost]] at least somewhat. The PSP [[WhatIf If]] route where she and Kyousuke are NotBloodSiblings heavily implies that the heavy tsuntsun is entirely because of her anxiety about her BigBrotherAttraction. When that obstacle is removed she immediately goes 90% deredere, and tells Kyousuke that she actually always liked him, even before the events of the story.

Kuroneko's relationship with Kyousuke also developed quite a lot. First seeing him as an older brother who does just about anything for his bratty younger sister, she tells Kirino that's she's jealous and calls Kyousuke "nii-san". In the 5th novel she starts attending Kyousuke's school and at that point calls him [[SenpaiKohai sempai]].

* HypocriticalHumor: Gets all bent out of shape when Kyousuke mentions an {{eroge}}, calling him "sexual harassment [[SenpaiKohai sempai]]". After seeing her game presentation, Kyousuke calls her "[[IronicEcho sexual harassment kouhai]]."

* OverprotectiveDad: When Kyousuke discovers him drinking himself out upon seeing Kirino with a boyfriend, he tells him that he refuses to give Kirino to anyone, and was even willing to risk his job as a police officer by knocking him out. Fortunately Kyousuke manages to talk him out of doing it, and says he'll go instead, since he [[CrazyJealousGuy feels the same way]].

* OtakuSurrogate: [[PeripheryDemographic Her taste in anime and eroge]]. Said anime and eroge are often aimed at [[{{seinen}} older men]]. In one scene in the PSP VisualNovel where she's attending a Meruru live event, her line while screaming like a maniac is tagged "Otaku" instead of her name.

* TheyDo: In the best ending of her VisualNovel route, she marries Kyousuke while they're still in high school due to her parent's prodding. This is pretty abrupt since, unlike the other routes ending in marriage, before the last scene their relationship isn't treated as definitively romantic at all.

* AmicableExes: With [[spoiler: Kuroneko]] as shown in the epilogue short-novels and their cameo in Episode 11 of LightNovel/EromangaSensei.

* AmicableExes: With [[spoiler: Kyousuke]] as shown in the epilogue short-novels and their cameo in Episode 11 of LightNovel/EromangaSensei. And rather astoundingly, she still seems to regard [[spoiler: Kirino]] as a friend too, despite the fact it was [[spoiler: Kyousuke's]] love for [[spoiler: her]] that drove them apart.

* BuxomIsBetter: She is an E cup, and she therefore has some minor bouncing going on in the anime. Kyousuke's internal monologue lovingly focuses on her breasts sometimes.
