The former Holy Knights of the now destroyed kingdom of Danafor.

See his entry in the Seven Deadly Sins.

!!Cain Barzad
->Voiced by: Takashi Inagaki

Cain is an elderly man who was first introduced in Byzel's annual fighting festival as the one who led the Seven Deadly Sins to it and as a contestant. While he doesn't look like it, he is actually a former Holy Knight of Danafor.

* BadassGrandpa: He might seem like a weak old man with a bad back but he's actually very strong.
* DrunkenMaster: When he is first introduced, Cain is presented as a drunk. Despite this, he is rather skilled.
* ForgottenFriendNewFoe: When Cain realizes that the person he assumed was Meliodas' son with StrongFamilyResemblance was actually Meliodas himself, he presented himself as this trope. In reality though, Meliodas couldn't remember him because Cain always wore full body armor and always went by his RedBaron moniker in the past. The two also fortunately make up in the end.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: He went by "The Flame Barzad" so much in the past that Meliodas never actually knew him other than that prior to their reunion.
* PlayingWithFire: Cain's main power.
* RedBaron: In the past, he called himself "The Flame Barzad" in association to his fire abilities.
* TwentyFourHourArmor: He wore his full body armor so much in the past that Meliodas had actually never seen him out of it prior to their reunion.

!! Liz
->Voiced by: Creator/SoraAmamiya

A young woman who resembles Elizabeth, and who was once Meliodas' lover when he served Danafor. She was originally a slave of an enemy kingdom of Danafor before being freed by Meliodas. Initially hostile to Meliodas and the Holy Knights of Danafor, she later opened up to them.

* BoyishShortHair: Unlike Elizabeth, Liz had short hair and she was a bit tomboyish.
* DefrostingIceQueen: Initially, she was rather hostile to Meliodas due to them being originally on different sides. However, she later warmed up to him and others.
* DiedInYourArmsTonight: She died in Meliodas' arms.
* GoOutWithASmile: When she died.
* IdenticalStranger: Liz looks just like Elizabeth save for her hair.
* InterspeciesRomance: Liz, a human, fell in love with Meliodas who maybe a half demon.
* TheLostLenore: For Meliodas.
* MadeASlave: Liz was sold as a slave to an enemy kingdom of Danafor before being freed by Meliodas.
* MeaningfulName: Her full name is a related variation of Isabelle who is the wife of Meliodas from the Arthurian myths.
* OfficialCouple: With Meliodas until her death.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted due to Liz's full given name is Elizabeth, same as Princess Elizabeth Liones.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Liz's full name is Elizabeth but she is primarily referred to as Liz by various characters as a way to differentiate her from Princess Elizabeth.
* PeekABangs: Like Elizabeth, Liz's hair covers her right eye.
* PosthumousCharacter: She is long dead prior to the start of the story.
* Tsundere: Towards Meliodas.

!Demon Clan

The Demon Clan is one the five major races in Britannia. About three thousand years prior to the story, they waged an ancient war against all the other races of the country. It was only through the combined efforts of the Goddess, Giant, Fairy, and Human Clans that the demons were defeated. The majority of the demons were sealed away in a prison created by the Goddess Clan after the war. The act of unsealing them from this prison so that the Liones Holy Knights can go to war with them is the main motivation of Hendricksen in the first part of the story.

Despite the efforts to stop him, Hendricksen however succeeds in freeing a few of them thanks to some hidden help. With their release, these demons have become the second main antagonists of the series.

* BiggerBad: They are the monsters that Hendricksen was planning to fight against and gain glory.
* BlackEyesOfEvil: Being demons, they have these.
* GreenLanternRing: Like Meliodas, a number of them can manipulate the dark markings that covers their bodies and form them into other things such as wings that allow them to fly.
* MarkOfTheBeast: A number of the demons have tattoo-like demonic symbols on their body similar to the one Meliodas has.
* OurDemonsAreDifferent
** The weakest ones are fat ogre-like Big Red Devils with two hearts.
** There are gray demons who are much more powerful than the red ones.
** Then there are the Ten Commandments that are just completely different to the above two.
* SealedEvilInACan: The majority of them were sealed away long ago in a prison that can only be opened using blood of a Goddess apostle. A few drops from a cloth that was used to clean Elizabeth's wounds were used to free about nine of them.

!!The Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments are a group of ten elite demons who serve directly under the Demon King.

* BadassCrew: They are an elite group of demons.
* TheDreaded: Their aura upon reawakening, which caused an earthquake that the whole Liones Kingdom felt, gave the normally aloof Meliodas cause for concern. Even the likewise aloof Merlin lost control of her emotions upon being informed that they were freed.

The first of the Ten Commandments to appear, having somehow escaped being sealed a decade or so prior to the story. He took residence inside Dreyfus' and has been manipulating events from behind the scenes in order to free his brethren.

* AffablyEvil: He allows Hendricksen to live after the latter unwittingly unseals Fraudrin's brethren rather than offing him.
* ChekhovsGunman: The first indication he exists is during Gowther's Nightmare Teller attack on Dreyfus. He is in fact the thing that drove Gowther out.
* DemonicPossession: He invaded Dreyfus' body and took full possession of it during certain times in order to achieve the demons' goals. He decided to take full control of it after the events wherein the Sins defeated Hendricksen.
* HiddenVillain: He was completely hidden from most of the other characters due to hiding within Dreyfus.
* TheManBehindTheMan: He turns out to be the true mastermind behind Dreyfus and Hendricksen's schemes as well as in extension to the various misdeeds that the Liones Holy Knights did.

!!!Yet to be Named Members

* CuteMonsterGirl: Three of the nine demons that were freed appear to be cute looking demon girls.
* EldritchAbomination: One of the nine demons freed is some kind of miasma-like creature adorned in multiple face masks. There's also the octopus demon girl who appears to be a human head with massive tentacles attached to it.
* EverythingsSquishierWithCephalopods: One of the yet to be named female demons appears to be a octopus-like creature that can be best described as a bunch of massive tentacles attached to a human-sized girl head.
* IdenticalStranger: At least two yet to be named demons so far seem to be this to Meliodas. There's a kid-like demon who looks almost like Meliodas' twin complete with identical looking demonic symbol. The exception though is that he has a different hairstyle and color, and his symbol is on the left side of his forehead as opposed to Meliodas's which is on the right side. There's also an adult demon who from what can be seen, appears to be a dead ringer for Meliodas' wanted poster.
* MultiArmedAndDangerous: There's a giant demon with a bag over it's face with four arms. There's also a female demon with multiple tentacles.
* RoyalRapier: One of the yet to be named male demons carries around a rapier.
* Stripperiffic: One of the yet to be named female demons is completely naked except for the dark blood that barely covers parts of her body.

->Voiced by: Kotori Koiwai

Elaine is King's sister, and the Guardian Saint of the Fountain of Youth, who was killed by a demon from the Demon Clan in the Fairy King's Forest, and resides in the Capital of the Dead since her death.

* AdvertisedExtra: Though she has so far only appeared in-story when the Sins went to the Capital of Dead and in Ban's backstory, Elaine is often featured alongside the main cast on covers as if she is a regular, usually by Ban's side.
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Towards Ban.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Her hair and eyes are both yellow.
* CuteGhostGirl: Most notable in the various color spreads where she accompanies Ban, she is this.
* DetachedSleeves: The dress she wears has detached sleeves.
* DiedInYourArmsTonight: She died in Ban's arms.
* FriendlyGhost: She's the ghost of a kind-hearted fairy who is in a StarCrossedLovers type of relationship with the immortal living bad boy Ban.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She is a golden haired fairy with an overall kind nature.
* HeroicSacrifice: Elaine sacrificed her life to give Ban his immortality so he could live.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: With Ban. She barely reaches his chest.
* InterspeciesRomance: Elaine is a fairy who is in love with Ban, a human.
* IntimateHealing: To save Ban from his fatal injuries, she gave him water from the FountainOfYouth through her mouth via a kiss.
* KingArthur: Elaine is based and named after Elaine of Benoic, King Ban's wife and Lancelot's mother in the Arthurian myths.
* TheLostLenore: For Ban.
* LuminescentBlush: She had this moment when Ban was skinny dipping and wanted her to join him, and when she found out that Ban overheard that she wanted him to take her.
* MacGuffinGuardian: She was charged with protecting the FountainOfYouth while King was away.
* MayflyDecemberRomance: Elaine, a more than 700 year old fairy, fell in love with Ban and, in reciprocation, he has sworn to make her his despite her being dead.
* OppositesAttract: Ban's a rather tall originally normal-aged JerkWithAHeartOfGold human thief. Elaine's a ReallySevenHundredYearsOld TokenMiniMoe saintly Fairy guardian. They genuinely fell for each other even when circumstances made them even more opposite in nature, what with Ban becoming an undying immortal and Elaine becoming a ghost.
* OurFairiesAreDifferent: Elaine, like her brother King, was a long living child-like wingless humanoid capable of levitating herself and other things. For some reason though, only she and her brother appear to be wingless. Other fairies so far have wings.
* PosthumousCharacter: She is long dead prior to the beginning of the series.
* Really700YearsOld: She's a fairy with a child-like body but is actually over seven hundred years old when she met Ban. Due to the child-like form Elaine has, Lolicon a creepy trope comes to mind when her relationship with Ban is seen out of context.
* RestoredMyFaithInHumanity: During her time protecting the fountain, Elaine develops hatred towards humans, due to all of them trying to steal the fountain and destroy the forest, but her thoughts change when she meets Ban.
* SamaritanRelationshipStarter: She became interested in Ban after she told him that if he were to take the elixir, the forest surrounding it would die and Ban promptly decided that it wasn't worth it.
* StarCrossedLovers: With Ban. She's dead and Ban's immortal however Ban is trying to find a way to rectify this.
* TokenMiniMoe: Of all the female characters so far, she is the most child-like in appearance.
* WomanInWhite: Her dress is prominently white.

!! Armored Giant

A gigantic heavily mutated Holy Knight that was found inhabiting Gowther's armor in Ordan Forest.

* AdaptationDyeJob: The cover of Volume 7 of the manga depicts the eponymous armor which the creatures wears as simply gray. The anime gives the armor a purple colorscheme matching more that of Gowther's.
* AdaptationExpansion: We see more of it before it went berserk in the anime.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: In the manga, the Armored Giant is pretty much a mindless beast that displayed little to no sentience or control. In the anime, while under Gowther's care, it's a more sympathetic creature with a slight more sentience and control.
* BodyHorror: Its mutations can be best described as something out of Manga/Akira.
** MultiArmedAndDangerous: Originally started out as a two armed abomination whose fingers were arms complete with their own fingers. Later, its two main arms split into four smaller ones, thus becoming a four armed monster.
** MultipleHeadCase: Apart from its normal looking human head, it had several. One that was chopped off and given to Dawn Roar, and four that grew out of his main monstrous body. These later merged together to form a single multi-faced head.
* EarlyBirdCameo: In the anime, he appears alongside Gowther in the Byzel Fighting Festival prior to their proper introduction in the manga.
* GentleGiant: It appears to be one at first in the anime, until it accidentally kills a rabbit.
* HulkSpeak: In the anime, how it talks.
* MexicanStandoff: Had a extremely long and epic one with Dawn Roar.
* RedBaron: It was called the Armored Giant due to it wearing Gowther's armor.
* RedHerring: It's initially assumed to be Gowther due to wearing his armor, however it turns out not to be him. In anime, the assumption is made further by the way it speaks which can be interpreted as it addressing itself as Gowther rather than it addressing the real Gowther during their interactions.
* SealedEvilInACan: Gowther sealed it in his own armor in order to suppress its power.
* TragicMonster / WasOnceAMan: The Armored Giant was until he was mutated by . As such, he thanks Ban after his MercyKill.

!!Arthur Pendragon

The newly appointed king of Camelot who was very briefly mentioned in gossip early in the manga. Like his namesake, he pulled a sword out of a stone and became Camelot's king. He comes to Liones with a cloaked figure that is somehow able to produce a large army. His intention is apparently to visit the king of Liones, not knowing that the kingdom had been ursurped by its Holy Knights.

* AChildShallLeadThem: Like his namesake, he became king at a very young age after he pulled the sword out of the stone. He is visibly one of the younger characters of the series.
* ADayInTheLimelight: In World of Love.
* Badass: First foreshadowed by his extremely powerful presence felt amidst his huge army alongside a cloaked figure, Arthur proves himself to be this when he fights off evenly against the Great Holy Knight Hendricksen. What's more this particular battle was Arthur's first real fight against an opponent. He only staggered abit later on only on account of Hendricksen deciding to use forbidden abilities, and that Arthur lacked sufficient experience.
** It's then further revealed that while Arthur has incredible latent power within him as sensed by others, he has yet to figure out what exactly his power is or how to even use it. So in other words, he was pretty much a BadassNormal when he fought against Hendricksen.
** BadassAdorable: Arthur was very talented even as a kid.
* ChekhovsNews: He was mentioned as early as Chapter 3 of the manga as very easy to miss gossip among the drinking patrons of the Boar Hat. 59 chapters later, he comes to Liones in full force.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: When he met King Bartra Liones in his youth, Arthur was told that instead of becoming a Holy Knight as he had always dreamed to become, he would become something much greater, a king. From this momentous prediction, all that Arthur took from it was that he was never going to be a Holy Knight.
* CoolHelmet: He wears a vaguely demonic looking helmet.
* CoolSword: He apparently possesses two swords, each with a different intricately designed hilts. One that he pulled out of the stone, and one with crosses that act as the ends of its cross guard and its pommel.
* DidntSeeThatComing: The Holy Knights and the Sins were so busy with their own affairs that they didn't see Arthur and his entire army coming.
* FieryRedhead: He has orange hair that goes with a personality that can sometimes be a bit cocky.
* FightsLikeANormal: Arthur was forced to fight against Hendricksen without the aid of his own power due to him not yet knowing what type of power exactly he has. He proves to be a match for the Great Holy Knight in regular combat.
* HappilyAdopted: Was adopted by a Holy Knight.
* HowDoIShotWeb: Based on what others sensed from him, Arthur has incredible latent power. The only problem is that he doesn't even know what type of power he has. Still without even knowing what type of power he has, Arthur was able to hold his own against a Great Holy Knight.
* IdiotHero / IdiotSavant: Idiot can best describe certain aspects of Arthur such as him not knowing what type of power he has despite it being incredibly strong. Regardless he proves to be incredibly heroic and proficient in regular combat.
-->Hauser: Is this guy... an idiot?
-->Guila: Either that, or he really is something...
* IdiotHair: Arthur has a long part of his hair which sticks out prominently in a rather distinctive shape.
* KingArthur: ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin.
* TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: Towards Meliodas.
* NotBloodSiblings: With Kay.
** CainAndAbel: The Abel to Kay's Cain.
* ThePollyanna: As shown in a special side chapter depicting Arthur meeting King Bartra Liones as a child, Arthur generally had an upbeat and rather hopeful attitude. Best demonstrated when he was saved from his adopted brother Kay's attempt to seriously injure Arthur by Bartra, all that Arthur did was calmly thank Bartra immediately rather than react to terror to the severity of the situation. Arthur even easily forgives Kay citing that one day they maybe the best of friends.
* RedHeadedHero: He is a light orange heroic character.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: As the King of Camelot.

The son of the leader of the village of Ordan. He takes care of Gowther in the years that the Sins separated after finding the latter heavily wounded.

* AdaptedOut: He doesn't appear in the anime due to Gowther's introduction being changed entirely.
* BrattyHalfPint: Pelio tends to act like one, but he is a good person at heart as he saved Gowther when he was injured.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Pelio comes off as a brat, but he does show that he actually cares, as when he carried the injured Gowther to the village despite having weak little arms.
* InterGenerationalFriendship: With Gowther/Armando.
* PleaseDontLeaveMe: His reaction when Gowther decided to leave Ordan to aid with the Seven Deadly Sins in their fight against the Holy Knights.
* ThisIsUnforgivable: When he finds out that Armando is Gowther and the fact that he lied about his personality to please him, he swears to become a Holy Knight to capture him.
* WasItAllALie: Pelio asked if the whole Armando thing was a lie. Gowther explains that the Armando persona was never real but it's apparent that the friendship they had was.
