* OverallsAndGingham: She's designed with a long, denim skirt and a green-and-white blouse. Some shorts show her wearing denim overalls when doing actual farm work.

* AgeLift: While their pony counterparts are all full-fledged adults, the Equestria Girls are all teenagers.

* ExtremeDoormat: One of her flaws is her inability to stand up for herself. Sugarcoat points this out on a bus ride. Even though Twilight gets bullied by her classmates, blackmailed by her principal, and yelled at by Sunset Shimmer, Twilight never so much as raises her voice.

* SuperSpeed: Gains this power in ''Legend of Everfree''. Rainbow is fast enough to cover the distance from the nearby town to Camp Everfree in seconds, and says that she handed out "four hundred flyers and set up the stage" while picking up a pizza. This eventually lends itself to Rainbow becoming [[IJustWantToBeSpecial the most enthusiastic about using her powers]], which causes some trouble in ''Spring Breakdown''.

* AlternateSelf: Sans Sunset Shimmer, who ''is'' the Equestrian version of herself, the group consists of the human counterparts of the Mane Six.

* IdenticalTwinIDTag: Being her counterpart, she's of course nearly identical to the humanized Princess Twilight. She can be differentiated, though, by her glasses, her different hairstyle, thicker streaks, and the bangs on the sides of her head being curly instead of straight. When they interact in Equestria in ''Spring Breakdown'', Human Twilight reverts to having Pony Twilight's hairstyle, but keeps her own glasses and lacks her pony counterpart's wings.

* AgeLift: While their pony counterparts are all full-fledged adults, the Humane Six are all teenagers.

* OutOfFocus: He suffers this in the first season of the [[WebAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirlsDigitalSeries digital series]], making only a few appearances (none of them very important). The second season seems to be working to fix this, with the first short placing him in the spotlight for the first time in the entire franchise.

* TownGirls: The same line-up as their pony counterparts only with the inclusion of Sunset Shimmer and human Twilight Sparkle. Animal caretaker Fluttershy and fashion designer Rarity are femme, leader Sunset Shimmer, nerdy Twilight, and party girl Pinkie Pie are neither, and country girl Applejack and sporty Rainbow Dash are butch.

For men, AJ is a fan of country music star Dirk Thistleweed, and her giddy fangirling and blushing upon meeting him suggests she's a fan for more than just his singing. * WhipItGood: ''Rollercoaster of Friendship'' has her friends lending their powers to her to create an energy whip to destroy Vignette's smartphone and dispel Vignette's holograms of the Rainbooms.

* BareYourMidriff: Her beach outfit is a competition swimsuit that covers her arms, but still leaves her midriff exposed.

* BareYourMidriff: Her heavy metal outfit shown in ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirlsRollercoasterOfFriendship'' and "[[WebAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirlsDigitalSeries The Road Less Scheduled]]" exposes her midriff.

* BareYourMidriff: Her second outfit in ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirlsSpringBreakdown'' exposes a bit of her midriff.

* BareYourMidriff: When she's at the beach, her swimsuit is a top with swimming trunks, exposing her navel. In ''Spring Breakdown'', she also wears a rainbow T-shirt knotted in the front, still baring her midriff.

* BareYourMidriff: Her beach attire is a bikini with a sarong around the hips (like Sunset), baring her midsection.

* MsFanservice: Downplayed considering the age range of the target demographic, but still applicable. As with her Equestrian counterpart, Rarity is the most fashionable of the group (though most of her outfits are no more revealing than what the other girls wear); she is emphasized to be very beautiful, and has no qualms with showing off her sex appeal. This is most obvious in the shorts "Life Is a Runway" and "The Other Side"; the former has Rarity singing about fashion while making liberal use of ModelingPoses and SexyWalk, and the latter has her in a form-fitting strapless bodysuit for most of its runtime while making rather provocative poses and facial expressions. The latter short also briefly shows her with a visible cleavage line, making her the only character aside from Sunset to have cleavage at any point.

* SexyWalk: In "Life Is a Runway", Rarity ''seriously'' shakes her hips on leaving the boutique. All of her impromptu models too, once on the runway. Justified, since that's how fashion models are supposed to move.

* RealityEnsues: As a teenager with no prior experience with magic, [[spoiler: turning into a demon and nearly destroying the world leaves Twilight, understandably, traumatised and guilt-ridden.]]
