Dragonboy
The protagonist. Dragonboy is a former scientist who created the Terminus Coins and experimented on Sonic.exe and Tails Doll, after they escaped containment, he hid the Coins around the world and wound up with amnesia, starting a new peaceful life until Sonic.exe attacked the Mushroom Kingdom.
- Badass Bookworm: He's a former scientist who created artifacts of unlimited power, and he singlehandedly defeated Sonic.exe and Tails Doll, while they were powered by said artifacts.
Mario
The hero of the Mushroom Kingdom and Sonic.exe's first major victim.
- Spared by the Adaptation: In the 2020 remake of Mario's level, he manages to escape Sonic.exe's Advancing Wall of Doom by jumping out of his mansion by punching through a window.
- Dark Is Evil: His .exe form is dressed in black and dark gray, which is pretty interesting considering that the other character's .exe forms are usually extremely colorful.
Luigi
Mario's cowardly brother, after his brother disappears, Luigi goes to search for him, winding up as Sonic.exe's second victim.

- Fighting Your Friend: He ends up in a fight with Boo after he's corrupted by the Devil Coins.

The undead army that serves Sonic.exe.
- Token Good Teammate: Tails seems to be this to the rest of the army, where as while the other .exes directly aid Sonic.exe in trying to kill the episode's Victim Ofthe Week, Tails is completely pacific, constantly warns would-be victims about how dangerous Sonic.exe is, and is pretty sad for not being capable of directly helping people escape from his grasp. Why has he not been brainwashed into liking Sonic.exe like the other slaves is unknown however.
Sonic.exe
The antagonist of the first season. He was an experiment created by Dragonboy to test the Terminus Coins, after discovering the power of them, he escaped containment with the aid of Tails Doll, murdering all of the scientists with the exception of Dragonboy in his search for the coins, however, after discovering that Dragonboy had took them, he went on a rampage across the world, plunging the Mushroom Kingdom into anarchy until Dragonboy appeared to stop him.
- Hijacked by Ganon: Before Tails Doll can finish Dragonboy, he reveals that he survived his apparent death in the first season because his essence had managed to survive inside the Terminus Coins, he then uses his powers to turn Tails Doll into a .exe slave.
- Kill and Replace: He's implied to have done this to Sonic, with Tails thinking that he's Sonic after pulling a Face–Heel Turn, when in reality, he's a Genetic Abomination that just so happened to look like Sonic.
- Younger Than He Looks: He looks just like the 15 year old Sonic, but is actually 10 years old.
- Psychopathic Manchild: Subverted. He initially gives off this impression, murdering people brutally through deadly "games" with childlike glee at how his victims die at his hands and having what's basically a temper tantrum during the Villainous Breakdown he has at his final moments, however, in the Tails Doll Saga, Tails Doll revealed that the two of them are actually 10 years old, as he claims that that was the time when they experimented with the Terminus Coins, and was thus, the day they were created.
- Your Soul Is Mine!: He has enslaved the soul of thousands and turned them into undead slaves to enforce his will.
Pinkamena
Sonic.exe's second-in-command. She used to be a sweet and cheerful pony, but one day she met Sonic.exe, who manipulated her into joining him in his quest for the Devil's Coins.
- Evil Makes You Monstrous: When she joined Sonic.exe's side, she changed into a creepy pony with demonic black eyes with red pupils and a Slasher Smile, and it wasn't even the result of Sonic.exe's control, because later, when he turns her into his slave, her appearance is very different.
- Disney Death: In the ending of the first season, it seemed like she had died after falling off a collapsing platform while she and Dragonboy escaped the Tower of .EXE, however, in the second season, it's revealed that she survived with only a couple bruises. Subverted in the ending of the second season, where she gets Killed Off for Real by Tails Doll.
- Heel–Face Revolving Door: She first joined Sonic.exe's side after being manipulated by him, then she switched sides and joined Dragonboy when she realized what she had done, then she was turned back to Sonic.exe's side after she rebelled against him, then she goes back to Dragonboy's side and helps him defeat Sonic.exe, then she's brainwashed by Tails Doll and turns to his side, then she goes back to normal and goes back to Dragonboy's side, and then she dies.
- The Dragon: She winds up as the second-in-command of both Sonic.exe and Tails Doll. Although in Tails Doll's case, she wasn't willing to help him and wound up mind-controlled into agreeing.
Tails Doll
The antagonist of the second season. He was an experiment created by Dragonboy to test the Terminus Coins, after discovering the power of them, he escaped containment with the aid of Sonic.exe, murdering all of the scientists with the exception of Dragonboy in his search for the coins, after discovering Dragonboy took the coins, he tried to track him down, eventually discovering that Sonic.exe was killed by Dragonboy. After searching through the remains of The Tower of .EXE, Tails Doll found Pinkamena and then turned her into a doll like him before going on a ramoage throughout the Mushroom Kingdom (and a planet on another solar sytem) to obtain the coins.
- A Lighter Shade of Black: Subverted. Although a few moments imply that Tails Doll isn't as bad as his predecessor, such as him being confused and scared during his time as an experiment (unlike Sonic.exe, who was actively trying to escape and was extremely hostile), him expressing grief over Sonic.exe's death and even being genuinely affable to some of his minions, when Pinkamena tells him that she knows he had a hidden good side, he quickly shoots down this idea, laughing at her face right before crushing her with spikes and then mocking Dragonboy for crying at her death.
- Creepy Doll: Of course!
- Hypocrite: When describing how Sonic.exe was a bad villain, Tails Doll proceeds to say that he "didn't talk like a normal person nor a normal creepypasta" (likely referring to his hammy, even though he himself is just as hammy as him.
- Power Floats: Of course!
