    General Tropes 
  • The Alliance:The French Commune is headed by the Third International, an alliance uniting the far-left countries of the world.
  • Arch-Enemy: For the Empire of Japan, which is France's main opponent in the New Cold War and the bulwark of capitalism.
    • It is also the British Union, which competes with France for the title of the vanguard of the working class.
  • Chummy Commies: Despite all their many shortcomings, the French syndicalists care about their people and strive to build a socialist democracy.
  • Corrupt Politician: Corruption caused by excessive bureaucratization is extremely widespread in France. Corrupt officials rarely occupy the most important government posts, but their influence is sufficient to counteract attempts at reform.
  • Obstructive Bureaucrat: Excessive bureaucratization is one of the main problems of the modern Commune. It reduces the effectiveness of public administration and hinders democratization.
  • Western Terrorists: Numerous, albeit disparate, anti-syndicalist groups operate throughout the Commune, staging terrorist attacks in the hope of overthrowing the government.

The chairman of the French Commune and the leader of the orthodox faction of the Committee, Philippe Martinez seeks to protect France and its people from bourgeois invaders. At the moment, he manages to maintain stability in the country, but every year French society becomes more and more polarized and the Chairman will have to do something about it or go down in history.
  • The Cynic: Martinez knows that the modern French political system is suffering, but believes that changes will only lead to the fall of the state.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Despite his own orthodox views, he is willing to work with reformist figures in his government.
  • Status Quo Is God: As one of the leaders of the orthodox faction, Martinez is preventing changes in French politics.

The current Chairman of the Welfare Committee and a moderate Jacobin, Jean-Pierre is one of the most senior opponents of the status quo in the Federation. At the moment, his direct influence on the state is limited, but his authority among citizens can spur discontent with the regime and lead France to transformation or fall.
  • Internal Reformist: Chevenement seeks to reform France in favor of strengthening centralization, protecting sovereignty and fighting corruption.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Jean-Pierre's reformism may lead to a political crisis and subsequently the fall of the syndicalist regime.
  • Patriotic Fervor: He uses patriotism as a means to unite the nation.
